International Skilled Workers

The Australian Government knows the best way to find talented new Australians is to trust Australian employers’ instincts and have them sponsor international workers they wish to continue or offer employment to.

Sponsored visas allow international workers of good standing and ethics to become permanent employed residents of Australia under their employer’s sponsorship.

All Australian employers can apply to be a sponsor, including becoming a:

  • Standard business sponsor
  • Accredited sponsor
  • Temporary Activity sponsor

To learn more about becoming a sponsor, or to learn how to sponsor a current or future employee, contact one of our knowledgeable agents or head to immi.homeaffairs.gov.au.

The subclass 186 Employer Nomination Scheme visa, 492 or 496 sponsored visa allows a skilled international worker to live and work in Australia under their employer’s nomination and sponsorship.
