What is the subclass for student visas in Australia?

How long does a student visa last in Australia?
A Student Visa will last your study time, so say your course goes for 1 year, your visa will run out after that. Your student visa will last for the duration of your study programme (including holiday periods) and will allow you some time to remain in Australia at the end of your course though so you don’t have to stress immediately about leaving.
For short courses, usually you will be granted a 28 day period after completion. When you choose a longer course, ending in 4th term (November-December) you will likely be granted time until 15th March to stay in Australia. This is 4 months of Australian holidays allowing you to do some serious traveling and also work without limitation.
Also graduation visa subclass 485 may extend your time in Australia. For those one who completed two years of vocational higher education in Australia, they can apply for a graduation visa allowing them to stay in Australia for additional 18 months to 4 years.
Does Australian student visa get rejected?

When your visa is granted, in the visa grant letter you will have a list of conditions you must obey. Not each person will have the same conditions, so make sure you check yours and you understand them well.
